XC90 crossover, Volvo and Geely Prime Collaboration

Swedish car manufacturer, Volvo was bought by Chinese car manufacturer. The first car is the result of collaboration both XC90 crossover. This was conveyed by Volvo CEO Hakan Samuelsson at the New York Auto Show, as quoted by Reuters, The car will be introduced in 2014. Currently the latest generation XC90 car was being engineered in Sweden and will be the successor of the successful sedan Volvo S80 sedan. Volvo is currently working with Geely to develop a compact car with a smaller platform. Among them will be produced at the Volvo factory in Chengdu, China. The platform is currently used to produce Volvo cars are known by the name or abbreviation of the SPA Scalable Product Architecture. The platform can accommodate different types of machines, including the first Volvo hybrid engines.
